Pierrem Thinet Composer

Pierrem Thinet started playing violin at the Conservatoire de Lyon, then studied harmony and contrepoint; he integrated G. Gastinel and C. Maudot’s instrumental composition classes, receiving an award in 1998 for his piece L’Oeil. In the same year he was awarded a degree in musicology by the Université Lumière Lyon 2. Sharing his life as a musician between performance and studio time, (more than 600 concerts in France and Europe and fifteen albums under his belt), since 2003. He has rediscovered the intimacy of an acoustic concert alongside the classical guitarist Eric Franceries and the percussionist Baptiste Romano. He is also a founding member of the group Azalaï, who are currently releasing their 4th album.
